Before applying to purchase FLIP ROSE 2D/3D Subscription Version, please read the notes below in addition to the "End User License Agreement" and "General Terms and Conditions" for the product.

<How to apply?>

Please apply for purchase using “Purchase Application Form”.
You need to specify “Scheduled Date of credit card payment/bank transfer” in “Purchase Application Form”. Read ”Date Specification", and apply for purchase after checking your schedule of credit card payment/bank transfer. You can check the business days of Customer Service at this page.
(Please note that the business days of Customer Service for the customers outside of Japan is different from those of Customer Service for the customers in Japan.)

<Notes on purchase>

・The “Protection Key” for running the programs and “Log-in ID/Password” to the website for downloading the programs will be shipped to you after confirmation of the credit card payment or the payment by bank/wire transfer.

・The programs and manuals are provided to you in downloadable form.

・The Protection Key and Log-in ID/Password (the “Protection Key Set”) will be sent to the address written in Purchase Application Form. The delivery to the address other than the applicant (the Customer) is not allowed. However, if you are a corporate customer and wish that a Protection Key Set is delivered to the address of other division different from the address written in Application Form, write it in “Remarks”.

■Shipping outside of Japan■

You shall bear the following costs;
・Shipping and Handling Charges
(see Schedule of Shipping and Handling Charges)

・Other Costs
(import duties, taxes, withholding taxes, value added taxes and other additional costs), if any. Other Costs may be assessed by customs or other regulatory or government officials during shipment of the product. Please note that we cannot confirm or calculate beforehand the actual costs to be incurred.

The Protection Key Set will be shipped to the address written in the Purchase Application Form via FedEx within 5 business days (business days of Customer Service for the customers outside of Japan) after confirmation of credit card payment or payment by bank/wire transfer. Please note that the Protection Key Set may not be delivered by the expected delivery date due to traffic or weather conditions, determination by the customs or other regulatory or government officials, or any other reason.

■Cancellation of application■
Cancellation of application is not permitted any time after you has made payment with credit card or by bank/wire transfer.


■Return■
Return of the product is not permitted for any reason except for the case described in Item 3 of Article 3 of the General Terms and Conditions.


■Replacement due to Initial Defect■
If you find any defects or trouble with the Product, notify the FLIP Consortium of the same within thirty (30) days following the date of delivery of the Protection Key Set (the “Replacement Period for Initial Defect”).
If the Product does not work normally due to any defect of the Protection Key, the FLIP Consortium will exchange the defective Protection Key with a new Protection Key free of charge; only provided, however, that you return the defective Protection Key to the FLIP Consortium in accordance with the instructions from the FLIP Consortium within fourteen (14) days from the date you have notified the FLIP Consortium of such defects within the Replacement Period for Initial Defect, and also provided that the FLIP Consortium has found any defect or trouble in the Protection Key returned by you. If the trouble of the Protection Key is any visible damage and does not affect the operation of the Product, or the trouble of the Protection Key is caused by your negligence or intention, the FLIP Consortium shall not issue a new Protection Key.


■Customers eligible to purchase Academic Discount Version for FLIP 3D Subscription Version■
Only organizations or individuals of educational or public academic institutions that fall under i) or ii) below;

i) Those who purchased the FLIP ROSE® ver. 7 Series Academic Discount Version before.
ii) Those who are purchasing the FLIP ROSE® ver. 7 Series Academic Discount Versionfor this time.


■Notes■
・ FLIP 3D Subscription Version purchased at the Academic Discount must be used only for non-profit purpose.

・ Copy of your faculty ID or certificate shall be required when you apply for the purchase.

・ Customers of educational or public institution may also purchase the Standard License of FLIP 3D Subscription Version.

・ Only for transaction with Customers of educational or public institution located in Japan and Bank Transfers as the payment method, the Customer may pay the license fee on or before the last day of the month after the month the Product is delivered to the Customer. Please click here for the procedure. (only in Japanese)


■About Support Service■
・ Please note in advance before purchasing that the Subscription Version does not include the Support Service, which offers to the Customers the Q&A Service (answering service for technical questions on the FLIP Programs), the right to participate in the short courses, the upgrade service of the programs and etc.

・ Customers who have purchased the Subscription Version can use the Q&A Service (answering service for technical question on the general usage of the FLIP Programs) by purchasing the Q&A Service Ticket.

・ Customers who have purchased the Subscription Version and wish to ask question about your specific analysis case, such as analysis settings, identification of defects, validity of analysis results, shall apply for our Technical Advisor Service. (Basically, offered only in Japanese)
