FLIP support programs provided by FLIP Consortium
The following support programs are available free of charge for the FLIP ROSE ver.7 Series users. The support programs provide basic functions for mesh-generation for input data and animation from output data of FLIP program.

| FLIPSECT | Post processor for extracting spatial distribution data at a designated time step from the output data of FLIP ROSE 2D | |
| FILECONV | Post processor for converting format of time histories/hysteresis loops output by FLIP ROSE 2D(including the format compatible with excel) |
Note on associated programs of FLIP program (pre-/post-processing programs)

Pre-/post processing programs with functions or features similar to the above associated programs of FLIP program may be sold by member companies of FLIP Consortium. Those similar programs have been developed and sold by the member companies on their own responsibility. FLIP consortium has not nor will not be involved in development and sale of those programs by the member companies.

※MicroAVS*, a general post-processor for animation and visualization of
2D and 3D simulation results is commercially available from Cybernet Systems
Co., Ltd. Although the FLIP Consortium has no involvement in development
of MicroAVS*, the programs for converting spatial output data of FLIP ROSE
2D or FLIP ROSE 3D to the format of MicroAVS* are available (see the list
of program above).
For the Overseas Members the special discount rate of MicroAVS* is applicable
for sale by Cybernet Systems Co., Ltd. To order MicroAVS*, please contact

System Environment
The FLIP programs for FLIP ROSE ver.7 Series and subscription version users are the executables compiled by Intel Fortran. The following operating environment is required for execution of the FLIP programs.

| <Notes> Microsoft Windows®8.1 support ended on January 10, 2023. In accordance with that, Windows®8.1 is excluded from the operating environment of the FLIP programs provided after January 10, 2023. |

You can confirm whether your PC meets the above operating environment requirements or not by using the “Operation check program”. Download “Operation check program” and check operation according to the following procedures. * This operation check program is to verify the OS, CPU and system type of your PC meet the requirements. Check the memory installed in your PC separately. |
| [How to check] 1. Download “Operation check program” (ZIP folder). 2. Decompress the zip folder into an arbitrary place (ex. desktop, etc.) in your PC. 3. Double-click “HelloFlip.BAT” in the decompressed “flip_oparation_test” folder to execute. 4. Confirm the massage displayed in DOS window. |
