What is the new function of "Nonlinear beam element (modified Takeda model)" introduced by ver.7 series?
Modified Takeda model is one of the widely applied model idealizing reinforced concrete beam members.
Asymmetric modified Takeda model element (nonlinear beam element) representing the relation between bending moment and curvature is incorporated for load modulus of FLIP ROSE ver.7.
This element allows the users of LFIP ROSE ver.7 to analyze the case with concreate beam element with asymmetric steel reinforcement.
The element is added as asymmetric modified Takeda model element (IEL=50) (nonlinear beam element) to FLIP load module.
